A leadership development programme for small business owners.
Running a small business can be richly rewarding – as well as frustrating, overwhelming and exhausting at times.
Currently, many of us seem to be running faster and faster just to keep up, putting out fires instead of moving things forward. With a lack of direction and disconnected relationships we are often looking somewhere else or to others for the answer.
Increasingly, there is more focus on what we do, less on how we do it and little to no connection with why we do it in the first place.
The Kura programme for small business leaders will help put you back in the driving seat and reconnect with the passion that drove you to start the business in the first place. Create a compelling vision, generate choice and identify how to bring the best out of yourself and others. The programme will prepare you for personal and business growth, offering bite sized learning to understand your motivations and move your business forward.
It will give you access to resources often reserved for large organisations, and help you connect with other small business leaders.

Our approach
We offer a free 1-hour introductory session, setting out the objectives, providing practical, useful content and the opportunity for you to ask questions, allowing you to make an informed decision about joining the programme.
The programme comprises of 4 interactive, online modules. The duration of each module is 4-hours, split across 2-days.
Resources
As part of module 1 you will be sent a link to complete an online questionnaire for the Clifton Strengths Finder. This will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. This is a tool which will help you to identify and understand your natural talents, allowing you to apply them to deliver results.
We will also provide you with a host of additional learning resources including reading and support materials and online content for each of the modules, allowing you to revisit your key learning.

Connect With Your Dreams, Deliver Your Ambitions
- Share what your business means to you.
- Identify your key strengths.
- Gain clarity on how your strengths connect with you personally.
- Be able to apply your strengths to deliver results.

Module 2:
Leading Through Self
- Raise self-awareness and gain clarity on how to create choice for yourself and others.
- Identify how to develop and apply a growth mindset.
- Gain clarity on how personal values effect decision making.
Module 3:
Empowering Others
- Be able to ask questions and listen effectively to bring the best out of others.
- Practice receiving and delivering feedback to create understanding and learning.
- Develop key influencing skills.
Module 4:
Leading with Purpose
- Identify how to connect your individual purpose and identity with your business outcomes.
- Be able to create well-formed outcomes that deliver win-win scenarios.
- Be clear on how to create a compelling vision
